Daphne Spector is a law clerk at Dunnington and a member of the advertising and fashion, intellectual property, and litigation, arbitration and mediation practice areas.
Previously, Ms. Spector worked for a boutique law firm, focusing on trademark protection, infringement litigation, and corporate employment matters. Ms. Spector has worked in chambers for judges in the New York Supreme Court’s Commercial Division and the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of New York. She has experience assisting creative clients, including with contracts, licensing, entertainment deals, commercial leases, and corporate entity formation. She is a contributor to a Sneaker Law textbook.
Ms. Spector holds a Juris Doctorate from Brooklyn Law School, where she founded and led the Fashion Law Society, and obtained an additional certificate in Intellectual Property, Media and Information law. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Business from Bentley University. Ms. Spector studied in Spain at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, lending her an international perspective.
Prior to her career in law, Ms. Spector worked in the advertising and fashion sectors, providing her with a comprehensive understanding of branding strategy and practical industry knowledge for high-profile companies across a range of industries.
