Jeff Kinkle is an associate at Dunnington focused on advertising, art, and fashion law specialties and litigation, arbitration and mediation practice areas.
Before joining Dunnington, Jeff was a litigator at Beldock Levine & Hoffman LLP, focusing on civil rights and arts & entertainment matters. In his civil rights practice, he litigated wrongful death, class actions, and employment matters. In his arts & entertainment practice, he litigated intellectual property and contract disputes.
Prior to that, Jeff was a litigator at Patterson Belknap Webb & Tyler LLP for several years, representing a variety of clients across different practice areas within the firm’s litigation department, including securities, structured finance, false advertising, and white-collar defense and investigations. Before joining Patterson Belknap, Jeff served as senior law clerk to Judge Jenny Rivera of the New York State Court of Appeals.
Before attending law school, Jeff completed his doctorate in critical theory and cultural studies at Goldsmiths College in London, writing, researching, and lecturing on the intersection of art, politics, and philosophy.
Jeff is admitted to practice law in New York State. He is a member of the New York City Bar Association, New York County Lawyers Association, Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts, and the Swedish-American Bar Association. He is fluent in Swedish.
