Dear clients, colleagues, business partners, employees and contacts, this is a brief notice given the COVID-19 outbreak.

Dunnington, Bartholow & Miller is dedicated to protecting the continued health, safety and well-being of our entire staff while we continue to provide services to you.

We have contingency plans in effect to provide uninterrupted service while working remotely as warranted by conditions. Our attorneys and staff will continue to be responsive to your legal and business needs, whether in continuing to work on existing matters or in assisting with new matters which may arise, whether related to the COVID-19 outbreak or otherwise.

Our thoughts are with all those presently impacted by the COVID-19 outbreak. We hope that everyone stays healthy and safe.

Donna Frosco to Speak at University College London on “Smart Cities” and Sustainability

Donna Frosco will be a panelist for a March 16th discussion of “Smart Cities: Creating a Sustainable and Inclusive Future.”  Ms. Frosco will focus on corporate participation in development of “smart cities” and vehicles to enforce corporate sustainability goals, including license agreements, codes of conduct and supply chain ethics riders.  Panelists also will address artificial intelligence, big data and emerging technologies, investment and sustainable infrastructure.  The program is hosted jointly by University College London and INSEEC University London.  Find the program agenda here:

Rome Art Law Conference

On March 6, 2020, Dunnington Partner Raymond J. Dowd will speak in Rome about the Spoils of War Doctrine at the Federal Bar Association’s conference, Restitution & Return: Art Law in Europe. The program will feature world-class attorneys and industry representatives who will discuss recent developments and current challenges from both the European and U.S. perspective. Panel topics include international restitutions, art looting in Italy during World War II, and the seizure of loaned works. Giovanna Melandri, the former Italian Minister of Culture and current President of Fondazione MAXXI will open the program, and  Noemi di Segni, President of Unione delle Comunità Ebraiche Italiane will deliver the keynote address.
